Taylor NS72CE The Taylor NS72CE nylon-string acoustic/electric Grand Concert guitar boasts the magical tonewood combination of Indian rosewood complemented by a Western Red cedar top. The NS72CE is equipped with Fishman Prefix Pro Blend electronics featuring a side-mounted control unit. This system combines a Fishman Matrix transducer with a miniature electret-condenser microphone on the inside of the guitar body (mounted on the underside of the control unit). There's also a small Trim Control that adjusts the volume of the microphone. Shelving-style Bass, Treble, and a semi-parametric Contour EQ enable tone-shaping, while a Phase switch and adjustable Notch filter help eliminate feedback. Vestax FaderBoard Breakthrough Sample Controller This revolutionary musical hybrid offers unprecedented control of sampling, effects and more in a unique "mixer" style package which combines the performance aspects of a sampler, a keyboard and a mixer. The Faderboard is essentially a sampler with 10 user accessible sample memories (with up to 30 seconds of total sample memory). Once you've loaded a sample (via recording or SmartMedia), you can control it with 10 special faders. Each fader controls a specific note for the active sample (like a specific key on a keyboard). By turning the fader up, you increase the volume of the assigned pitch; move to the next fader, slide it up and you are playing the next note in the scale. Onboard effects help you to further shape your sounds. You can assign a scale (major/minor) and select modes (blues, Arabic, etc.) to make controlling your samples easy and musical. The creative possibilities are quite astounding. The 10 key faders control the sound output and are curve adjustable. You can move the entire sample range up or down an octave with dedicated buttons. You can even control melodic or percussive aspects, as well as samples and effects.
