The upgraded Merlin six-ball-bearing gimbal, arm, vest, and three additional stainless-steel 'mid-weights' to counterbalance cameras weighing up to 7.5 lbs (3.4 kg) is a plug-and-play replacement for existing Merlins. The upgraded Merlin Gimbal employs six-ball bearings with aluminum and stainless-steel construction for precise movements, angular isolation, and higher payloads than its predecessor. The Merlin Arm and Vest make extended shooting nearly effortless. Weighing only 2.6lbs it is light and thin enough to even be worn under a tuxedo jacket. All adjustments require no tools to fit any shape and size. It allows for hours without undue fatigue, and preserves all the flexibility and reach of the operator's own arms. The Merlin Arm is ultra-light and extremely capable. It provides great performance and flexibility including instant, knob-adjustable control of lifting power for camera payloads between 2.5 and 7 lbs. (1.1 to 3.2 kg) The Merlin Arm also provides enormous vertical lifting range (28 or 71cm) and full iso-elasticity so youll need only ounces of force to maintain the highest or lowest lens heights (from way above the head to below the waist). Like its big brothers, the Merlin Arm includes two-axis adjustment of the arm-to-body angle so that people of differing shapes can adjust the lifting angle to their most comfortable posture. Together the Merlin Arm and Vest actually increase your shooting options. The operator can ease the Merlin back against the body and shoot 'handheld', with both hands on the camera, and fly seamlessly back off the shoulder and continue moving. With practice operators can fly the Merlin one-handed right off of the mounting post during a shot (docking the arm to the vest with the other hand) and execute those unique Merlin shot opportunities ultra-low- or ultra-high-angles and then slip it back onto the arm to continue the shot. |

The Minicom 80 is a 600Ws monolight that offers unique convenience for digital and conventional photographers. The organized front panel has an illuminated digital display, LED indicators and a black-lit, scratchproof silicone keypad that is easy to read even in a darkened studio. The microelectronics used in the Minicom greatly reduces it's weight and size. They also use a mechanical locking system for the protection dome, where a bayonet holder prevents inadvertent loosening. The Minicom 80 integrates into the existing line of Broncolor light modifiers and shapers, offering photographers a wide range of creative options. |

Control units are attached to a modular tube frame that allows for personalised setups for the booms. The optional handle set also provides remote camera zoom and focus control possibilities. This back mounts directly to the 2 1/4 x 3 1/4" rear frame and accepts most medium format digital backs from Kodak, Leaf and Phase One. The Multistep Sliding Back can be used to capture individual images or can be used to place two or three images next to each other where they can be "stitched" with special software into larger file images, such as spreads or panoramics. The Multistep Sliding Back requires mounting plates for specific model backs. As new digital formats are introduced, Cambo will develop new products to accomodate them.
